Have you heard about this? Hoxton from Electric Sheep mentioned this on her podcast.
Every hour~ for 24 hours and 100 days. It's a live webcam. A different person will stand on the Fourth Plinth in the UK, and he/she will make it their own. It's fascinating!
If you are not listening to Electric Sheep, download it from Itunes. It's a great podcast. If you are listener, join the group on Ravelry.

OTN Wednesday...
I am finding that this is the summer of socks for me. It just seems to be the easiest thing to knit while my kids are home from school for the summer. I don't have as much knitting/spinning time now as I did over the Fall, Winter, and Spring.
On my needles is.....Sock 1. This sock is being knit with Lantern Moon Sox Needles.
I broke one, and I've lost another. I'm down to 4. I have turned the heel, and I am ready to pick up stitches. However, I'm a needle short. These needles are nice, but I don't think I would buy them again. These are being knit on Size 2. These are my only size 2 needles, so I ran out to AC Moore to buy another set of 2s to finish them. Lantern Moon will replace my needle, but I don't know how long that is going to take.
On my needles is .....Sock 2. These are just plain 2inches of ribbing socks.
The yarn is not very exciting at all.

I haven't been able to spin. Life has been hectic around here. The kids are taking turns being sick this week. Nothing worse than sick kids. We have been pretty much stuck in the house.
In other news around the house, I have been on a search for a new laptop or desktop for the house. There are pro's and con's to both of them. After much debate, I think we have decided on a dell laptop. My only concern is the kids being too rough with it. For as long as possible, we are hoping for the kids to use the desktop. Our desktop is really old, and it's running on Windows 2000. The Windows 2000 is causing us the problems. We are unable to run updates for our programs. We also only have 10G of hard drive space TOTAL. This alone indicates the age of my PC. We have decided to go with dell because they are one of the few companies that provides "restore" disks. If we were to buy another system, we would have to pay the geek squad to make them for us. That costs about $70. We have used our "restore" disks over the past 7 years at least 3 times. Over the years, inexplicable things have happened to crash our PC.
In September, I will be eligible for an Iphone upgrade. Anyone have one? I can't decide if I want to be committed to ATT for 2 more EXPENSIVE years. Anyone have the Ipod Touch? If so, do you find difficulty in connecting to the web with the Itouch? I'm considering getting one rather than the Iphone.
It's late, and I must be going to bed. These kids get up early in the summer!

OTN Wednesday
I've been working on these socks while waiting for my son during his swim lessons.
I'm really like the way the yarn is knitting up. I started the heel last night after I took this picture.

I was also able to get some spinning done... More pics on that later.
Last Saturday, I went to the Kenny Chesney Concert in Philly with some friends.
We had to park two stadiums over and walk over to our friends. I didn't bring my camera. It was either carry the camera or the Rum and Pina Colada mix. This is a tiny pic of me at the tailgate. I swiped this from a friend's pics on facebook. It was a great time. We tailgated most of the afternoon. We missed Lady Antebellum and Miranda Lambert because the tailgate was too much fun.
I did catch the end of Montgomery Gentry. My favorite act of the night was SugarLand. They really know how to put on a great show. Kenny was good too! He seemed tired. Maybe, it was me that was tired :-)

Ten on Tuesday
I grabbed this from Carole Knits. The theme for Ten on Tuesday this week is 10 Guilty Pleasures on TV.
Here goes:
1. Gilmore Girls. I will never tire of Starshollow.
2. Cake Boss on TLC. I love this new show.
3. General Hospital.
4. ICarly. This is a kid's show on Nick. I want to hang out with Carly's brother Spencer. He is too funny!
5. Hannah Montana. I even tape the new episodes. I say it's for my kids but it's for me.
6. Gossip Girl
7. How I met your Mother
8. One Tree Hill
9. Rock the Reception
10. Crossroads on CMT.

Some Spinning of the Bobbins
I was able to steal about 30 mins to myself the other night which was just enough time to take my plyed yarn off the bobbins. I was able to soak it, thwack it, and wind it. I forget the name of this roving, but I purchased it from Spunky Eclectic.
There is something funky going on with my camera, so this is not the best picture. I love the colors.
I absolutely love spinning. As you can see from the picture below, I am still working on consistency. Everyone should at least try spinning.
If you are an avid podcaster listener like myself, I suggest you check out Electric Sheep by Hoxton Handmade. It's a great podcast!

Around the House
The kids are home now ALL THE TIME! It has become more difficulty to get any knitting, spinning or blogging done in the past week. I shouldn't say that. I was able to ply some yarn one night last week. I'm hoping to get it off the bobbins and on to a Niddy Noddy. Maybe, I will even get a chance to soak and whack it. I have only casted on my Katerina Ballerina Cardigan. While Sunshine is swimming, I've been working on the cuff of Sock 1.
This past weekend, my FIL came over to put some tile down by my front door.
The kids had a great time helping him.
We just have to do a trim around it.
On Sunday, we celebrated Father's Day over my Inlaws house. We had a very nice BBQ.
Sunshine has been playing Ghostbusters on his PS2. Jingle does her best to interfere with PS2.
Princess is her cute little old self.
